I read that article yesterday, thats Brian Burke saying this right? - obie
Yeah. He said he did talk with Bergevin.
Bergevin might not be a genius, but he's not making the trade for Drouin if a center is out there. Maybe part of the problem is that he's still trying to win now or at least make the playoffs every year. |

TRADE: The #Sens have acquired forward Mikkel Boedker, defenceman Julius Bergman and a sixth-round choice in the 2020 NHL Draft from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Mike Hoffman, Cody Donaghy and Ottawa’s fifth-round pick in 2020: https://ottsens.com/2tjpvkx - Symba007
Wow, seems like a bad trade for the Sens to me...
SJ are really into "problem players" though... |

Ottawa had no choice but to move him so they don't get much I guess... |

Surprised Bergevin wasn't all over that one. Habs could use another LW. |

The 2020 5th round pick vs. the 2020 6th round pick is key here. |

Domi had a lot of assists last season. Pretty sure they could try him as a centre this season. Really more a playmaker than anything. Galchenyuk had no future with this org, so meh.

a 60-point winger? not so much up Bergevin's alley. now Boedker and his 38 points and responsible defensive play, that's a Bergevin target for the first line. |

He was centered in London by Horvat. He hasn't been a centre since AAA. |

They have some kind of "champions league" format tournament on top of the regular season in the MBHL now. 2 weeks in a row we end up playing some westisland oldtimers like you and they forfeit halfway in the second period. |

well once he steps onto the ice with Paul Byron and Brendan Gallagher he'll feel like he's right back n Midget so maybe it can work out. |

Dang you still play there?
That was a lot of fun wish our team hadn't disbanded.
I think at some point though they just ran out of letters to give to our division |

9 goals. 4 were empty net, which he won't get in Montreal. So 5 goals. Now he is on a team that can't score goals.
And you traded away your best PP player, too.
Gonna be (frank)ing awesome all round as the Habs pass the puck to each other all game long, never taking any shots. - Mashadar
Best PP player is Webber man... than I would say Drewin |

Passing on the consensus #3 would be horrible. Guy with 44 goals in a season needs to be taken on a team that cant score (frank)ing goals - nords21
It’s easy to get wingers. Sharks just did a retool on the fly
Centres don’t get traded often when they do they cost lots.
Draft the center |
