So Kotkaniemi it is? Still think they could use Zadina as well, but if he really could be a number one center... - deadpoulet
Zadina: 57 GP, 44 goals, 82 pts
Kotkaniemi: 57 GP, 10 goals, 29 pts
I know they played in different leagues but come on! |

Yes but it's a big difference in stats. If it was plus or minus 10 goals ok but damn. |

29 points in 57 games at 17 years old in the SM-Liiga is pretty good.
Not only that he played vs. adults in that league, but usually rookies don't get a lot of icetime. Same goes for the SHL.

I would just like to point out that despite his horrible season, Max Domi would have been the Habs' assist leader by 6 this year. |

Kotkaniemi outscored Henrik Tallinder, Nolan Yonkman, Jerry D'Amigo, Ryan Wilson, Chris VandeVelde, Mark Flood in the Liiga this season. How many NHLers has Zadina beaten in the Q this year? |

Some guys just don't have the skating or style to play in NA. Kotkaniemi shouldn't be one. |
