Frank Servalli confirmed a few hours earlier today that Montreal has already signed Domi to an extension for 2 years x $3.15M, after acquiring him for Galchenyuk late last night.
Pierre Le Brun also reported that Montreal wasn't done yet trade wise, with possibly Ryan O'Reilly being a possible interest. Or maybe they will clear some cap space to become heavily involved in free agency, as well as other possible trades. Is Jonathan Toews on their radar should the Hawks want to deal him? |

Maybe they could get something for a few vendors - Slimtj100
They would even have more trade value than some of the Mets players. |

Yea he’ll never get traded there. He’ll sign there in 2 yrs and the Mets will get nothing haha. Mets are like the browns, senators and clippers - Slimtj100
Should the Mets trade Synderguaard and deGrom to begin a complete minor league system rebuild, there's plenty that has to change down in their farm system coaching wise and more. MLB analyst, Ken Rosenthal said sadly a few days ago for Mets fans' current minor league hopes, that "they don't have much down there, and they are not very athletic". |

The Canadiens have acquired forward Max Domi from the Arizona Coyotes tonight, in return for Alex Galchenyuk. #GoHabsGo
I don't understand this deal from a Montreal standpoint. - tomburton99
Montreal acquired the younger player in Domi who devotes greater energy on both ends of the ice, as opposed to Galchenyuk who is known to be both mainly streaky and also soft at times offensively, plus more importantly, was both not responsible and good enough defensively for them.
That's why it seemed it required ages for Montreal to finally deal him in the right move for both teams, with the Coyotes in fear they would not be able to re-sign Domi.

Jay Bruce, Familia, Cespedes all could get moved. - tomburton99
The too often disabled listed golfer in Cespy won't be moved unless the Wilpons retain a load of his $29M annual salary, which alone comprises up to about 20% of their team's total payroll.
In fact, the Mets have the highest dollar amount in $80M of their payroll in players that are currently on the disabled list of any MLB team, followed by the Giants at $70M, and the Dodgers at $69M.
Even worse, the Mets are one of two MLB teams that cuirrently has more payroll dollars in players on the disabled list in that $80M, than they have on their active roster at about $69M. The Tigers are the other, but lower with $59M disabled vs. $53M active. |

I could see Toews happening more than ROR, would make sense for both teams. Not sure the cost, maybe another flip of Drouin. |

Sandin under Miller. - Glak18
Disagree. That being said the Flyers will probably get Sandin at #19 and piss me off. |

He said expand on Miller OVER Sandin, I said Sandin UNDER Miller. I expanded.
And I would take Sandin at 19 over Miller and hope we do now. |

Or maybe the Sabres announce Rasmus Sandin instead of Rasmus Dahlin by accident and the whole draft is in chaos |

You're dumb. Domi is 23. Galchenyuk is 24. Over the last 3 seasons, Domi has 135 point. Galchenyuk has 151. Galchenyuk can play center or wing. Domi only plays the wing. Domi has never surpassed 200 shots in a season. Galchenyuk has done it twice. Domi would be an RFA till age 27, so the Coyotes would own his rights until an offer sheet hit the table. |
