If Hayton falls to 20 like in Jan's mock draft he's doing on this site, should the leafs trade up to get him? Dubas might want to, with the Soo Greyhound connection. He would solidify the 2/3C spot for many years.

At 25 you just take the best player you think is available, wait a few years and see what happens. There's some players that make the jump right away, but don't bet on it.

If Kravstov is available at 25, which he probably won't be, I'd take him.

But I'd be happy if the Leafs draft one of Kravtsov, Merkley, or Lundkvist at 25.

Yeah, that was a total fiasco. On the other hand, the British Navy was upfront about why they weren't in service, but we bought them anyway.

It would have been better to have the Americans build us new ones like they offered.

He looks so stoked to win. Is there some rule that players are allowed to get emotional when they win, but management have to act like robots? I'm glad he's excited. Shows he likes to win, and that's a good trait for our GM to have.

I think a trade for Faulk with Sparks being part of the package. I would rather see Hanifin, but the cost is going to be too high.
