Jus tbecause the team is bad, doesn't mean you throw 19 year olds in the lineup. Let poop reed boucher, magma, catpo in and let the kids mature before throwing them to the wolves and maybe they wont end up like Hutton, JV, Stecher. Bo and boeser could handle being in the show as a teenager, but not many can.

Only way I can possibly see it is if Montreal gets real stupid and picks Kotk or Dobson at 3.

Ottawa one ups their stupidity and is in love with Tkachuk so deeply by draft day that they still draft him.

Arizona picks Hughes over Zadina, having them both ranked high on their board but choosing the D over the W. They're not as old school as the other 3 teams here so I would bet big money that they have Zadina ranked above Tkachuk, Kotkaniemi, and the dmen. But Hughes might be someone they love.

I am leaninig more towards a trade down and getting another centre, like Veleno, Hayton or Kupari, then load up on defense.
