which was his bad year?

Last year?

- classic321

Yes. First half of the year was bad for everyone on that team though. his ppg is solid, good PP player. Chuky has never panned out in MTL but could really explode in the desert IMO. Domi is not on his skill level, but brings some different things they are looking for I think outside of skill. One of which is he did well at center, bit of grit and character. Was a huge playoff guy for London, kid has heart for sure.

It doesn't take long for bad management to destroy a franchise.

Domi went from scoring 18 goals in his rookie season.
to scoring 9 as a sophomore
to 9 in the final year of his deal, but 4 of those were empty net goals.

His inconsistencies 5v5 are not great.

Ottawa and MTL are worse teams to be a fan of right now, and we've been bottom 5 for 3 years

He was not happy in Phoenix and it showed on the ice.

MB trying desperately to find a center and they're stacked on the left side, maybe that's his thoughts? Bad trade for Montreal in my opinion.

He will be drafting Tkachuk for a center and passing on Zadina Leaving Hughes or Wahlstom for us

In what 40 games? He's not as good for sure skill wise, but he'll bring 50 points and some other things I think that chuky doesn't. No question who has more skill. Chuky does't exactly dominate 5v5 either, but a change of scenery he could easily be a 70 point guy with Keller, OEL and Strome. Their power play just got a lot better.

It would not surprise me one bit if he went all-in on Tkachuk at number 3.

This would be good news for us. Zadina is not dropping out of the top5, I'd put bank on it. I don't see Detroit passing on Hughes either unfortunately.

He played 82 games last season, and couldn't beat his production from when he played 60.

That is inconsistent.

It's not that black and white, you'd really have to dive into his usage, linemates, icetime, injuries and minutes from one season to the next.

No He's had 2 out of 3. THAT IS INCONSISTENT
18 goals to 9 goals to 9 goals (4 empty netters) so 5 goals.

His ice time has been the same.
His most common line combination last year was Keller and Stephan.

Both needed a change of scenery, and at 5v5 I'd say they're about even overall, but I love AG's potential on the PP.

Plus he's the better shooter/scorer, he has a heavy shot.

I'm going to walk you through this, cause I can see you're having issues.

GP PTS
2015-16 Arizona Coyotes NHL 81 52 good season .62 ppg 2016-17 Arizona Coyotes NHL 59 38 good season .64 ppg
2017-18 Arizona Coyotes NHL 82 45 off-season .54 ppg

To be clear, Galcheyuk has had years with a better clip, but Domi has only had one off year. Numbers don't lie.
