I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Tryamkin gets traded
Nor would I - VANTEL
Don’t think anyone would be surprised, but I hope they keep him & get him back here ASAP. |

Yes Nucker I would, the Canucks want to succeed in their divison they should earn it and not be gifted it because of other teams failures. - Makita
im okay with being gifted. there's been teams in the past that have made strong playoff runs coming out of weak divisions. Playoffs have a luck factor involved whether people like to admit it or not. Hot/cold goalies, injuries and puck luck play a role. If a weak division gives me a better chance of making the playoffs every year, I'm 100% for it. |

Dave Pratt said today drafting Dobson will serve Canucks well when he will be ready in 3 or 4 years when Canucks will make a run for the cup
- VANTEL
Dave Pratt wants Dobson
Don wants Dobson
Coincidence? I don't believe in coincidences. |

Same but he sort of did slap the organization and city when he left. |

Agreed! He is overrated. I like him in Utica but that’s where he should stay |

Wonderful news. Trade him for a 3rd and let’s move on. He is a fragile clown |

I need ottawa to get their poop together so we can then laugh at Carolina and Arizona again. - Aaron_85
I personally thought Carolina would have been better last season, this year is going to be interesting with Dundon interfering along the way. |

Same. At HF they had a thread to name the top 5 most likely to get traded.
I had:
Hutton
Tryamkin
7th Overall
Tanev
Nilsson(if he can actually be moved lol) - Nucker101
No markstrom or 2nd round pick.
You know Jim needs to trade that 2nd don't you? |

He's not trading his starting goalie lol
And I guess the 2nd round is in play as much as the 7th, but it'd be lame to just list all of our draft picks. |

If you are dealing Karlsson/Duchene you have to. If they are trying to push for playoffs, you keep it. |

I thought the same thing.
We will see if keeping your head coach, AGM and GM combined salary under $1,000,000 will work out. |

Trade him now if you can something of value but his value will likely go up by the time he is actually coming back. Right now he's our best D prospect in our system IMO, no point in selling low. |

Sign him to a contract...you lose nothing even if it is a one way, gets sent down and is lost to waivers. |

He has to buy out his own contract.
I have no idea how much KHL salaries are compared to what he would make in the NHL.
But some of the NHL money has to do it. |

Does he personally have to buy it out? I think he's been pretty adamant he will be finishing it as well but I guess it's not exactly the kind of thing you advertise. |

I believe he does. There's no transfer agreements between the KHL and NHL that would allow the NHL team to buyout the contract. At least as far as I know.
Also, waiting until next year for him to come back isn't the worst thing in the world. He's playing big minutes in Russia and even has a leadership role on his team, he can develop just fine over there instead of playing in a tire fire here. |

Who are you on board with in the draft this year, DCT? - Nucker101
Still fine tuning my shortlist... For the most part I’m kind of underwhelmed by the popular options in our range. Depends on how it falls obviously, but I wouldn’t blame Benning for “reaching” or trading @ 7. Who are your guys this year? |
