Hughes the best prospect since Matthews? Haha hello, McFly. Ever hear of Rasmus Dahlin?!?!?! (Oh wait, he's not N. American, so of course you haven't.)
Why do people keep coming to this site?!? I only go for the laughs. I really hope people don't take what these failed broadcasters/journalists say too seriously, because it's mostly click-bait, and their "sources" are basically the voices in their heads. Good day, sir. |

Jack Hughes the best player since Austin Matthews? Lol that don’t say much for poor Jack. I’m sorry but “generational talent” don’t disappear in the playoffs. Sad - QuickSCF
You’re an idiot, yes they do. They can disappear. Jack Hughes is potentially better than Mattthews. Neither are generational talents by any stretch. Only generational talent post lock out are Crosby and McDavid. That is it. |

This site is really the American Dream for "sports writers". Guys like Ek and Tanner, who so obviously never played and just don't understand the game, get to be writers and write about it everyday. Its pretty impressive really. How do you churn out stuff every day when your don't even understand the subject material? I mean its easy for Ek, he just invents garage, laughable trade "roomers". Its comic more than anything else. But how does Tanner get to be paid for this? |

I think (Hope) Dahlin will be in that category in two years, if all the hype if true.
People have called him the McDavid of d-men. |

He gets paid just enough to supplement his CDs and smokes fund.
Which tells you a lot about both Tanner's writing talents and Tanner himself. |

I'm late to this party, but...
The Sens need a win and I think an RNH/Karlsson swap would be that win, but they need to either go all-in for a rebuild or go all-in for the playoffs.
I haven't paid enough attention as to whether or not Pageau was moved to wing or not, but a Duchene/RNH/Pag 1-2-3 punch would give them a VERY nice top nine to build around if they're wise about it.
You can never replace a Karlsson unless you get another Karlsson, but if you have a good GM in place you can build a defense that is solid enough to get you to the cup. You'd still need a #1, but not necessarily a Karlsson-level #1.
The Sens need to poop or get off the pot. |

You just answered your own question. You brought up Tanner, who isn't even part of this discussion, and decided to FOCUS on him. Tanner has his issues, but the fact is he isn't the fool, the fools are those who spend bandwidth complaining about him. That in itself gives Tanner outstanding job security. |
