Minus his skating concerns he's closer than many in that top 10 ready to play in the NHL - KreiderBomb
I have no basis for saying this because I barely know anything about these guys, but everything I read about Bouchard leads me to a McIlrath feeling. I think it might be all the skating hate... |

Yeah see the thing is Bouchard had 87 points this season. McIlrath had 74 total in his Jr career. So you are comparing apples and hand grenades here. |

Oui, not the same at all. Again, Bouchard's sakting isn't bad, he isn't slow. He just doesn't have elite skating ability Hughes, Dahlin, Dobson or Boqvist has. London's offense flowed through him. Whether on the rush, on the Power play or off of face-offs. Now Mclirath was good for punching people in the face and that is it. Mcilrath never had a seaon in the wHL where he exceeded 25 points. Bouchard has already done that twice. |

Way too early to tell about the latter.
You could argue McIlrath over Tarasenko, but 15 teams passed on Tarasenko...kinda hard to get one them about that. |

that draft I freaked out they didn't take Fowler, I wasn't even thinking Tarasenko and I don't retroactively like to change my feelings. |

Fowler. - Slimtj100
Yeah but most of us wanted Fowler. Now Folwer hasn't been the impact player he was hyped to be. However he does have five 30 points seasons, on the verge of 250 career points and 600 NHL gaames. |

Just goes to show you what a total poopshow the draft is.
I remember plenty of Isles fans, myself included, being varying degrees of pissed off that we traded back instead of taking future-Russian-star Nikita Filatov |

good player, averages over 24 minutes per game and most importantly may have stopped some other bad decisions made on the blue line if they had chosen him |

Hearing #NHLBruins are amongst a growing list of teams that have inquired with #Canucks on the 7th overall pick. GM Don Sweeney has been very open about his desire to acquire 1st rd pick but not sure what ask from VAN would be.
