I don't think I've ever posted who I want the Canucks to draft. Really because other than a few highlights, I don't know these guys enough. Rarely do. I never even looked at EP prior.

If it is a straight up for 7OA, I wouldn't be that against Hanifin. But would prefer to use the pick ourselves.

I'd like Wahlstrom or Tkachuk. Goals win games. Goals are good. Brady offers an element that any team would love and I believe he is in College a year before BB was. Altho he is one of th eldest in the draft correct?

I'd take my chances with a F. Try and land another 2nd and take 2 Dmen in the 2nd rd. Or move up into the late 1st and grab one there.

I dunno. I'll probably change my mind tomorrow.

My final statement: I'll back any pick by JB and Brackett. Just make the pick.

I could see them shopping Tryamkin's rights around for a later round pick. Or throwing his rights in a trade to acquire a center. Not sure they have the ammo to acquire another 2nd round pick unless Tanev is traded.

I feel like moving tryamkin's rights, right now is a mistake. He will be back in the NHL in a couple of seasons and they will have more value then or mgmt and him can kiss and make up and we have a more NHL ready player.

Sutter should be able to fetch a 2nd and perhaps Baertschi as well.

Yeah, any of Baer or Granny would likely only be a 3rd.
What's this 7OA and Demko bs?

Can't be true. JB and TL would enrage the fanbase and they know it. Not good PR. Dipietro and 7OA? They had to sign him before he re-entered the draft no? hmm. How could they move Demko now?

I agree, but I'm just guessing that he and Hutton are the most likely to be tossed into a trade or offered up league wide for a later round pick.

only if he says he'll never play for VAN again, would I trade his rights. But given his Twitter history of following Canucks players and the odd comment....means he could still come back. I think anyway. Keeping the wife happy for now till Canucks are relevant again. Make it easier to come back.

I don't want them to trade the pick. I just want them to draft an alpha.

When I read the posts here, I really don't see a difference between HF and HB. Reductive reasoning, false bravado, and sad proposals.

It's entertaining but in a pathetic, sad kind of way.

The mistake is your opinion on Tryamkins value. Kid is a cancer and if you can get a mid round pick for
His rights we shouldn’t hesitate

It doesn't matter if he hurt your feelings, his value will be much higher once he decides to come back. He won't get anything decent so why bother wasting an asset.

He didn’t hurt my feelings. I treat all players and picks as assets with a numerical value. I knew he was a problem in the locker room and I shared all of this with you guys. Sure enough, two weeks later he quit and ran back to Russia.

Apparently Demko is being packaged with the 7th for Hanifin. Even though liar Jim said he was done trading picks. I'm sure Trevor said something contrary.
We are all Canucks.
