And it just comes down to opinion, I can't say that you're completely wrong for wanting a guy like O'Reilly, he's a pretty good C and they could sure use a couple... I would just prefer to see them get younger and faster.

The 3rd overall would be for a home run deal, only a couple guys I can think of I would consider moving it for and they're both 19... Price would be a tricky to move, I would definitely entertain the idea but I doubt Bergevin will! Lots of possibilities on Pacioretty, I'd take Sam Steel and the 23rd from Anaheim for him the 38th just to name one

I don't know. TSN is only talking about the 7th overall. That would be hard to beat for Montreal unless you think they are willing to trade the 3rd overall. And why not draft a defenseman then? Carolina would trade him to save some $$$?

Maybe a team like the Ducks or LA have a defenseman to trade for Pacioretty.
