Craig Button had a good point the other day on Leafs lunch:

Stamkos' agents basically told him that there was no downside to entertaining other offers - even if you are 99% certain you want to remain with your existing team, why not at least hear what the other teams are offering?

So Tavares may be staying or going - but him not being signed yet isn't necessarily an indication that he wants to leave Long Island.

It's the reason Trudeau got a majority. Harper's platform of bashing hair etc was the most foolish strategy ever contrived. If he had of just stood proud as a leader and acted like a leader, we'd have a minority government right now...PC or Liberal, who knows..but it would be minority....people see through all the bashing bullpoop these days and zero credibility can be attached to it. People want Leadership...and leadership involves not even having to mention the competition because it's irrelevant....just my opinion
