Last of us is on my list as well as Bloodbourne (heard this is hard as hell but I like challenges). I hear Detroit is cool but I haven’t done my research to know about it enough. I feel God of War has ruined gaming bc nothing will be as good lol

I would be ok with Riley Nash. I think Bozak might get more then what people think he should.

Winnipeg doesn’t have anyone to replace Trouba and is probably losing Enstrom (although that’s probably a good thing).

Unless Trouba really wants out, they will try to keep him. He’s a good dman, but kind of injury prone too.

I used to love it for PS3. Recently got a PS4 and I blazed through God of War (amazing) and I’m trying to find another game to check for PS4. I have horizon zero dawn but I’m struggling to really stick with it and idk why. I was really looking forward to playing this game. But my main worry for The Show is what you described; regretting paying full price.

Its more an open world hack and slash game with a structured story line. Plenty of exploring and all that but there's not really a sense of just plowing through enemies for the sake of leveling up.

No, it's not an RPG. It's a combo of hack and slash and puzzle solving. Yes, you level up, but not in the RPG sense (i.e. you can get better weapons/magic, but they don't grow like they would in an RPG).

Edit: I agree though, the first God of War, when it broke, was the coolest game ever. As much as I liked Skyrim, and played it to death, it didn't have the same effect that God of War did.

I agree. However, if I was Winnipeg, I'd build around a core of Wheeler/Laine/Scheiffle/Ehlers on offense and Trouba/Morrissey/Byfuglien of defense. Whatever moves need to be made, within reason, to keep that core together would be made.

Ugh I hate Dubinsky, but that probably means I'd like him as our 3C

Definitely give Bloodborne a try if you were interested. Best game released this generation hands down.

So I am a fan at looking at Spezza, if bought out, as a possible 3rd line center if you don't have one in house for next year. I think you could get him cheap and maybe on a 1 or 2 year deal.

Another name I am curious if anyone on here would be interested in if the same situation arises, Brandon Dubinsky. He is a pain in the ass to play against and he can kill penalties. I wonder if he would be a good short term and cheap for the 3rd line center role.

He’d be ok at the right price, but I’d prefer someone with more speed.

Some were shot so quickly they didn’t have time to consider terror. Just insane. Imagine being in one of the later boats and just seeing several wiped out cleanly before touching sand. No escape; terrifying just thinking about it.

Re the 3C spot for next year:

I don’t think the Flyers have anyone in house ready to fill that spot in 2018-19, but I think they will soon. So, with that in mind, I’d be open to a UFA but only on a 1 or 2 year deal or a trade for someone with no more than 2 years left on his deal.

I want someone with good wheels, that is consistently better than 50% on draws and is a good, proven PKer. He also needs to be able to put up at least 10-12 goals and 25 points at ES.

Not sure if that guy is available, but that is what I’d be looking for.

I'm 31. Our generation is financially (frank)ed. Just about everyone I know around my age that owns a house lived with their parents deep into their 20's to save up for a down payment. Add in the absurd cost of student loans these days and it's really the norm for a lot of people to come back home after school.

Yup that's right but meanwhile let's keep opting for politicians who can't control spending and ballooning the national debt. Yes, let's have college courses for everything so everyone can go to college. Prices actually go down when demand is high right.

Just tax those pesky greedy rich people more.

Novel idea here. Don't go to college unless your going to be a doctor, engineer, scientist etc.
A PH.D. In art history or women's studies might not be a wise choice.
Make everyone and I mean everyone pay taxes. You'll see a lot of BS with politicians and spending stopped.
