Botterill needs to acquire one this offseason. Whether it’s Kessel or someone under the radar it needs to be done. I would keep ROR unless the trade offer is so lopsided Botterill would laugh as soon as he hung up the phone. Having Eichel-ROR-Mittelstadt down the middle is a wet dream. Having Dahlin and Risto as two of your top
4 d-man are pretty damn good. If we get capable wingers and a goalie without having to move ROR we could be playing meaningful hockey into March at the very least.

I think Nylander-Eichel-Reinhart would be very difficult for any defense to handle. It might open up enough space where Nylander becomes a 25 goal scorer next season and establishes him as an NHLer.

So many people don't want to give the kid a shot because he didn't score 40 AHL goals on Kevin Porter's line.

But we don't know what can happen because it's never allowed to happen.
