If Montreal is willing to move down for a center Then they would 100% accept a trade for Ryan O’Reilly - gerbe75pts
Kotkaniemi will be just as good, if not better and cost controlled for the first 3 seasons. Is also 8 years younger than ROR. |

Yes but you’re already getting the sure thing that will put up 50+ and have The qualities of a center That is needed for a franchise to succeed ..
I don’t disagree with you but I don’t believe Montreal is going to rebuild their going for the quick fix
They can’t have the Toronto Maple Leafs hovering over them |

I see where you’re coming from, but we’ve seen how quick fixes turn out. If Habs were smart they would be patient and not end up like us or Edmonton. |

What do you mean?
Tim Thomas hated Obama and didn't want to meet him.
Smith-Pelly hates Trump and doesn't want to meet him.
It's their prerogative |

Ur right...it is their prerogative...but the media uses it to make a point on their agenda...as though Thomas or Smith-Pelly, two professional hockey players, know the first (frank)ing thing about politics or what constitutes "racism" or "sexism." They use it to create news and uproar and outrage where there should be little or none. |

Well, Smith-Pelly is Canadian, which is a bit different, because Trump isn't his president. IDK, I thought it was odd that Tim Thomas didn't want to meet Obama, and I guess this is odd too. Thankfully, we're all free to be outraged about whatever is the flavor du jour. Outrage seems to be the language everyone speaks these days.
I will say that every other American is entitled to their viewpoint (I recognize Smith-Pelly is Canadian), so despite their status under the limelight, they're entitled to their actions and opinions as well
Hell, Lehner loves Trump. Everyone has an opinion |
