not sure how everyone else feels but here are my thoughts on the coaches being discussed for Isles.


No thanks:
AV- no thanks. He doesn't like playing the young kids. He always goes Vets.. He can never be as bad as Cap but it's not the guy I want for this team.
Adam Oates - No thank you. What we saw of him as a coach was not overly impressive and we just tried the ex-player that wants to coach and it failed miserably.
Scott Stevens- Same- let him be a head coach in minors first. If he has success than maybe..
Madden, MacLean, and everyone else that was a Devil. no Thanks.

My choices.. in order of Preference.
1. Trotz - Never going to happen but I would love this.. System, experience, accountability, etc.
2. Keefe- Certainly sounds like the next great coach from his resume with the Marlies.
3. Blysma- experience, track record.. etc.

Don't know enough about D.J. Smith to have an opinion.

Bottom line is Lou making this decision give me a sht ton of faith it will be the right person.

Trotz or Daryl Sutter would be my top choices. Keefe and DJ Smith seem very promising. No thanks on Blysma. I would like Scott Stevens brought on to help the defense.
