The Caps had not resigned Trotz earlier because the team had not advanced past the second round but now that they have, so I think they will keep him.

He IS expected to leave Toronto and did improve their defensive structure. Getting to learn from a top 3 coach helps as well. I'd be on board with it depending on the assistants.
