Another great day for the isles and their fans. The reign of mediocrity, complacency and the country club are dead. And not a second too soon. Finally, Snow has been held accountable for his track record. Finally, an owner of this franchise put the health and well being of the organization ahead of the desire to surround themselves with “yes” men and buddies.
Regardless of what happens with JT, I’m super optimistic about where Lou will take this franchise. But let’s get JT re-signed and really turn the corner towards competing for a cup rather than mediocrity!

Great post Jethro. I'm not worried about JT. JT should want to re-sign but if he is not on board with the changes he can go.

Let me clear a few things up, there is a button that resembles a flag in the upper right corner. When someone finds a post offensive, they can click that flag and it shows up in the post reports thread.
Then one of the few refs around here will monitor that forum and check to see if the post is in fact a violation of the CoC, if it is, then a ban will be set. Bloggers can not ban posters.
Calling a blogger an idiot is most definitely a violation of the CoC rule #5, that will usually result in a ban.
BTW, your post was flagged and in the post reports which is why I responded to clear up any misconception. - Makita
Is it a violation when a blogger calls a poster an idiot?
Garth Snow = Mike (idiot) Milbury 2.0. Maybe not quite as bad though... toss up.
What are your thoughts Islander fans ? Just curious. - Vladdie_Kon1
Ugh ... this is a debate we've had for years. I say Milbury only because he left the cupboard bare. Snow left Lou pieces to work with. However it's really like asking which type of terminal cancer you'd like to kill you.
You guys gotta be thrilled though... this was a long time coming.
I'd have to say Milbury was the bigger Jacka$$. He squandered some great draft picks / prospects back in the day from what I remember. Zdeno Chara comes to mind.

Milbury was the diarrhea-Midas. Everything he touched turned to poop.

Both were brutal. Garth had more stable owners and Milbury probably would not have minded a couple of years of Malkin being owner. Garth rubbed me the wrong way more than Milbury.
