Find me a non injured NHL vet under contract that doesn't attend camp...I'll wait

You're wrong, I have more knowledge here than you about him attending camp.

The Sabres can give him 26 but it would be in bad taste when they are paying a guy $5 million who has worn 26 his entire NHL career that is still under contract.

The great VOICE OF REASON around here speaks again.

Thank you, stripes.

Weird I thought was a lot less pro contracts to hand out. I saw we had like 33/50, but that's without resigning Samson, Wilson, Falk, Pilut, CJ Smith, O'Regan, Malone, Fasching, Baptiste, Bailey, Redmond, Lehner/A goalie, Johnson, Nolan or Pouliot. If Nolan, Johnson and Pouliot go, we'd be at 45/50. Figured with a couple FA signings or NCAA guys we'd have been maxed. I guess Falk or Redmond could still go too though.

I know you're well versed in these things...what am I missing? Where does the 27 come from?

- RhinoFan

I was just saying we're at 33 of 50 at this moment, really only need 10 for a full roster, but they'll probably sign 12 or 13, but that's still only 45, 46 and maybe 2, 3 at most from the draft and you still have one or 2 left.

After having seats 5-8 for years , I acquired aisle seats 1 +2 prior to the lottery draft. After much patience, I was able to acquire seats 3+4 yesterday.

If anyone is interested in bringing a group of 8 friends/ family to a Sabres game next year , feel free to PM for details. 8 seats in a row.

Seats are Sabres shoot twice side. Behind the net, great view, best seats in the arena for the price.

I realize the Buffalo Sabres are coming off the first 31st place finish in nhl history, but our time is coming.

Keep this thought, as tickets will eventually be difficult to find. I am reasonable.

I am not worried, if not this year, he will break through next year and be able to give those people the finger behind closed doors

he really is playing so much better each week

Again...
Moulson is now “Kevin Porter”

Did he come to Sabres camp last year?

It wouldn’t be in bad taste at all
It’s just acknowledging that Moulson is done with our organization

He’s basically Wade Redden, when the Leafs buried him
Did he attend their training camp that next year? Idk

If anything,
It’s probably in poor taste to bring him to camp when there’s ZERO CHANCE he will play for us again

What possible reason is there to bring him to camp?

Also...
he’s most likely bought out anyways

#26 is fair game
Once we loaned him to another team’s AHL squad, that was the end of Moulson with our franchise

- jdfitz77

Holy **** man! No team with any sort of class would give a number to a rookie, over a guy who's been in the league for 10+ years, no matter how buried he is in the organizational depth chart. What aren't you getting about this? It's really not that hard to understand. Hello McFly, HELLO...

Don't be a D!ck. If you can help it .

Obviously I hit a nerve with another one of "your" guys.
Sorry if moulson is going to be cut.

Just put your moulson Jersey in the heap with your other favorites. Bowl u and bogo

- Boss34

Huh?
I don’t like Moulson at all
He’s done here

There’s ZERO reason to think he will have any say whatsoever in Dahlin wearing #26 or not

But u go ahead & keep thinking we might keep Moulson to play with Tavares

You know the Sabres loaned him to the Reign as a favor to him right?

But I know facts mean nothing here

- Stripes77

So what?
The bottom line is that Moulson is never gonna play with the Sabres again

Agree or disagree

And if he’s never gonna play here again,
what’s the possible harm in letting someone else wear #26?

Keep hanging in there.
Maybe I'm crazy, but watching the crowds during the playoffs is unbelievable.
This city has more diehard bandwagon fans then anywhere.

As soon as we start winning, people will be hounding you for tickets.
Being a season ticket holder is like being a small business owner. Tough times and good times.
Season tickets are also like the stock market. The market is about to explode with eichel- dahlin- mitts.

That's my opinion anyways.
The 2 sets i acquired were from original season ticket holders from the aud
They had clearly been fed up. I guess it depends on your perspective and optimism.

I would agree to him not playing with the Sabres again

The harm would be within the NHL community. Teams that treat players poorly in any light ends up hurting themselves in the long run.

If Moulson is bought out then by all means give him 26, but if Moulson is still under contract with the Sabres (in the minors no matter what team, they still own his rights) you don't give away a 10 year vets number who has played almost 700 NHL games and over 350 points who is signed to a big money contract.

I guess i just don’t see the harm since everyone,
including Moulson,
knows he’s not gonna play in the NHL for us again

I actually think it’s treating him poorly to bury him, when he could be bought out without any real Cap hit damage to us

U really think he’d be all p!ssed off or feel slighted if they let Dahlin wear his number?
It’s not like they’d be giving it to Nolan

I don’t think he’d care much at all

If he would have made those two putts he would be 2 back, and that miss right there has to be getting under his skin.

The way he is playing if he could get his flat stick going he could be 10 under on the round

Not sure what the malfunction is today fitz, but your being extra stubborn?

Moulson may not play again for the Sabres
When he is no longer a sabre , #26 should be available.

You could probably go to sorrentinos on sheridan and have Dahlins name plate put right over your #26 moulson's sabres Jersey for $12.

Your jokes are sad & lame

Ya know who won’t be wearing #26 for us...
Vanek

But u keep on hoping for a Sabres line of
Moulson-Tavares-Okposo

Thinking there’s even a 1% chance of that happening is insanity

He might not be, but other players might think it's wrong.

They're better off buying him out but if they don't I don't see Dahlin getting 26. It will probably rub some vets in the room the wrong way if they give him his number.

The only way that happens is game 82 of the season when the Sabres are either guaranteed a playoff spot or already eliminated for Moulson's last professional hockey game of his career.

Really?
I don’t think any of them would care

If Moulson was still on the Sabres,
then i could see an issue

But if he’s banished again to the AHL....

Idk man
I just don’t think it’s a big deal at all

I think it’s much worse that we’d even keep & bury him in the AHL in the first place

There are still some old school guys in the locker room. Not a lot but there are some.

It's not a passing of the guard thing when they give it away on you.

Moulson would probably take it in stride kind of like Thorton handled him getting stripped of his C but you know there were players in the locker room that didn't like that at all.
