He's a surprisingly good penalty killing player, I must say.

...but then again that's not where you want your best goal scorer spend his energy during a game.

Gretzky killed penalties.

unless they're rebuilding, which they wont do, no point trading Pacioretty. in any deal involving Pacioretty, he will be the best/most productive player in the deal. Montreal loses any deal they make involving him. that's a pretty hard and fast rule when it comes to trading high scoring forwards.

They better be sure they get to re-sign him if they keep him...

I agree, especially in the last year of his contact, Montreal would not be winning that trade unless it's for a pick and he turns out to be real good!

LA is in the market for a winger, maybe the conversation turns to Gallagher... For Valardi and the 20th pick...

i don't think it will be hard to re-sign him. very difficult for a player to turn down $40 million. plus he's already coming off a terrible year and he's starting at the possibility of playing his UFA season next to Phil Danault.

Started really watching hockey in '88, and I don't have the best memory of players on other team I must say. I remember Lemieux better... but my favorite non-Habs player was Pavel Bure.

Pacioretty is a great player.

Hell if he stays here for a price that makes sense, go for it.

Just don't lose him for nothing or overpay him.

- Scabeh

ya until the playoff starts

affraid of traffic

No heart

Probably the worst captain ever too

If he resign here long term, it will make you happy, I will quickly loose interest in that team !

it's his chance to secure a long term deal, his agent screwed up on his last deal, I think he makes sure he gets what he can this turn around.

Kills me that he has that physique and he afraid of everything.

and mostly, to me he showed no hearts in playoff, not a clutch player

Even less of a Captain

That might be a plan...

But I rather they trade him for a first pick and rebuild
