MB is good friend with Tavares agent (Pat Brisson), he should already know if he has a real chance or no.

If they know they don't have a chance with Tavares, Pacs could be gone at the draft as part of a package.

If the offers were not great at the TDL, they are not better now IMO, they will have to package him with picks and/or other players

I wouldn't mind TBH. I think because he has grit people focused less on his talent. Also the kind of player you hate playing against, especially in the playoffs...Him and Gallagher on a line could be entertaining for sure.
