If Sens want to get rid of Bobby Ryan's contract, they only have two options:
1) Trade Ryan's contract with the 22nd overall pick to sweeten the pot.
2) Keep Ryan and trade Hoffman who isn't the favorite of Boucher and Dorion for a 1st rounder and a young NHL-ready player.
The only one player the Sens should buy out this summer is Gaborik IMO. |

Top priorities for Dorion
(5) Make the right draft choice
(4) Resign Matt Duchene to a 8 year deal
(3) Resign Mark Stone to a 8 year deal
(2) Get rid of as much of Ryan's 30m owing
(1) Sign Erik Karlsson to 8 year contract - AlfieisKing
I think I agree with this list. I also think that a good GM with support of good ownership with deep pockets would be in tough to knock off all 5 items... so I predict Dorion can get 1 of the 5 (Stone) done.

This is a joke right?
You can certainly touch or make comments, but when the person tells you to stop, as the article suggests the young man did, Randy Lee should have stopped. Period. Most people, of any age, are not comfortable with a stranger placing their hands on them and making lewd comments.
If these allegations are true, Randy Lee is a (frank)ing idiot. He's got to or should realize that it would jeopardize his employment. He deserves to be unceremoniously fired if this turns out to be true. I don't give a fiddler's (frank) what his reasoning for doing it is. |

Some hotel personnel were told about the incident that Lee was rubbing the shoulders of the 19-year old driver, w/ lewd comments being made. The driver may have believed that Lee began masturbating in the back of the vehicle and reported it, culminating in the investigation.

Oops. Read it too quickly. Missed the part where he was rubbing his shoulders even when requested to stop - neither of which is acceptable. Either the article was changed after I first read it or I screwed up. |

I think trade wars is a good idea. As for what I'd add, I suggest draft player profiles, Sens history pieces (a look back at players and staff who were part of the organization, review/ analysis of past seasons), comparisons/contrasts to other teams, hockey strategy and tactics explanations. |

I've been saying that Wideman should be getting second pairing minutes for what feels like years now. Always liked the idea of Claessen and Wideman playing together in place of Ceci and whoever they stick with him. They played together in Bingo, so they might have some decent chemistry that would likely help them adapt to the tougher opponents.
In terms of articles over the summer, I've always enjoyed brushing up on the prospects pool in the offseason. the top 25 under 25 was a great series, maybe it needs a shinny new name though?
With guys like Chabot, White, Brown, Gustavsson, Chlapik Batherson, Formenton, Luchuk, Wolanin, Pokka, Jaros, Hogberg, Gagne, Perron, Wilkstrand, Lajoie and Erkamps in development, it's exciting to think about the future of the team. |
