The genius of Scott Malkin. All he had to do was drop Lou in on top, and keep everything the same. #isles fans on social media are immediately appeased. The Garth haters will attribute all positive stuff to Lou. What a neat bow. Reality is a lot of work to do for all.

I'm so freaking happy I was wrong on Snow staying as GM. Now if I can only be wrong about JT walking for nothing. Fingers crossed.

I don't think there is a star in any league that would walk because a first year coach got let go. That'd be idiotic. And if that's his thought process, then good riddance.

I understood some thinking Lou would not be hired, but once Lou is hired he is running things plain and simple.

I think we will now see a lot of new faces on the roster come October.

it most certainly did not. I am very curious on how they are approaching draft. My guess is internal structure all report to Lou and he kicked out all middlemen to clear way.

if anything, I thought if GM swapped out, it would happen later this summer for a Hunter or someone like that post-draft. not before. Very rare changes made this late, but Lou a rare bird

To be honest I think hunter is gonna be the new gm as soon as draft is over
