He just "messed up" repeatedly over, and over, and over, and over again...

Can certainly debate skill levels of Hall/Hamonic. Wasn't a trade #Isles felt they could make w/ one of the emotional leaders of the team. - Cptmjl
It doesn't even matter exactly who said what to whom in what order. The point is that the Isles had a guy the Oilers wanted (Hamonic), and who wanted to be traded to western Canada, and the Oilers were willing to trade Hall to improve their D.
The bottom line is that Snow failed to maximize his return on Hamonic.

Exactly my point but to deny it with what I just copy and pasted in 5 min is hysterical

Also, I think getting a first and 2 2nds for a dman who's past his prime, even inconsistent now at 2nd pair, and hasn't played a full season since the lockout year is pretty decent.
Now, if those picks aren't traded by the draft, it's a bad trade.

I understand that dopey (Snow) failed to show interest in anything but a d-man. No need to remind me of Staple's tweet.
Sure, Snow salvaged some nice draft picks for Hamonic. But I would rather have Hall.

Yep and Hammer was not a leader like Messier despite what Garth thought.

Hamonic wouldn't have gotten Hall. Pulock or Leddy in a package might've - bgainesDM
Who says? Where did you get that one? Maybe Snow would have had to throw in a pick, but it is known that the Oilers were interested in Hamonic. Snow, however, said the Islanders were only interested in getting back a d-man.

because Hamonic isn't a top pair dman. Hamonic would've gotten Eberle though.
