What in God's name is he still doing in the AHL? His stats are incredible. Are they handing him the keys yet? Wtf.
- Powerslave

He should be their guy going forward.

I expect him to be the backup next year for the Leafs but they have two goalies signed.

The kid is real good.

He has worked his tail off in the ECHL and the AHL.

He is a guy I would try to get.

I don’t know, I would rather keep that asset and try for Bernie’s or Hutton in FA.

Both him and McElhinney are both under contract for one more year. So Sparks will either ask for a trade, they'll swap Sparks and McE, outright trade Sparks, or just stand pat. He'll probably take plenty of minutes from McE this upcoming season. If he's too good, he'll be traded this or next season. My guess is next season. No reason to lose a great asset if the trade coming back isn't in the leafs favor.

I got to watch him in Orlando for a year, and I have followed his career since.

One of the nicest guys ever too.

He deserves a shot and I think he will make it

Sabres are trying to win now.

The @MapleLeafs announced today that goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo has signed a two-year, two-way contract. #TMLtalk

Why is this relevant?

Because the young guy I want the Sabres to go after is Garrett Sparks from the Marlies

You guys think Ullmark is ready to quadruple his starts this season? Hs stats are gorgous for the half dozen he played, but I would be concerned about the hip surgury/concussions.
- Larsson_fan

He’s been the starter for two years in Rochester... he’s proven he can handle the load of being the starter. As for the injuries, the hip is a non factor as it was years ago... he’s played well ever since... the concussion, as long as it not a recurring thing,it’s fine... he’ll probably be the best goalie we had here since miller left. Semi related, but it looks like Johan Franzen is in a very bad place.

They might be trying to win doesn’t mean they won’t draft high ..

You can still have a fun season and see improvements on the way and still draft high

There’s nothing you can do with a brain injuries which in this day age they should be able to

They should have the science to fix it

It really sucks to know it’s over with and can’t do anything

Maybe 15 years from now

At that point, he probably couldn't care less about hockey. He just wants to live a normal life.

So sad

What interesting is 5he hit was shoulder to shoulder, blind side, from behind.
Sound familiar?
It should, very much so.

Same as Wilson’s 5 stride (“boarding penalty in the old days) hit shoulder to shoulder, blind side from behind when said player is defenseless.
It was late, and Wilson is showing a history now of reckless hitting without concern for purposely causing an injury .... not just to hit hard.
He needs to get a very strong message so it finally sinks into his cement head.

Have we ever made a trade with the leafs ? I just don’t see it

You have to A sneaky trade with another team to get him and then that team would have to give you him lol

That's a possibility. I been around a long time, this feels like the buffalo Bill's in 87.

Just about to be recognized as a winner.

Sure I'm a homer, but eichel, mitts, dahlin.
85-95 point range in my opinion
