Basing your decisions around emotions will do that.

That's right! And like every other fan, I like Gallagher, how can you not?

Edmonton should keep their pick and draft the best D available but with Chiarelli you can pretty much expect anything....
- BashCH

With McDavid extension kicking in, he won’t be able to keep this core forever. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to move the 10th pick to get immediate help and put the team in a win now mode...

We need a way to draft Zadina AND Hughes. We need that dynamic LHD but even more that natural goal scoring RW, i see a good fit between Zadina and Drouin...

You'd probably have to take one of their bad contracts (Lehtera/Weise) for starters.

Probably give a goalie prospect as well

- BashCH

They have Carter Hart coming, they don’t need a goalie prospect but actually a proven NHL goalie...thought Elliot would fill the gap but it sure disn’t Work out well...

Hughes is gonna go pretty high, I think... They'd have to grab Arizona's pick to make that happen!

Doesn't Philly have Hart? Not sure a goalie prospect and a salary dump would be enough to get them to cough up the 14th pick in this draft...

And I know Bergevin won't make any of these moves but a smart GM would...

Would you take both Islander picks for Gallagher?

- obie

Both yes, for one NO

I don't think trading the guys that showed heart every game is the solution ( Gallagher, Byron, Danault)

You need to trade pacio

Then if you believe in lalaland maybe somebody is dumb enough to trade for Webber or price

A complete rebuild is the solution and unfortunately that would include all those guys... Anyone over the age of 24 can be had!

And both Price and Weber could be moved, they won't but they could

Which is why the return for him would do wonders for a quick rebuild

ya I'm not far from stating this in German ...( we tried in French and English)

ITS NOT HAPPENING

at least, not before Bergevin gets fired..

We can only hope he gets its head out of his ass an manage to get a second first round pick for # 67..thats the best case scenario for our future...

worst case he somehows sells the idea to Molson to make yet another trade for a veteran

Of course it's not happening tips!!

But you say it's not a good "idea" to trade Gallagher, Byron and Danault... And my response was exactly what I said but you somehow got that confused with me saying it is gonna happen!

And even in a rebuild I would not, they are leaders and young. Make no sense

See if somebody wants a Hudon, Lekhonen perhaps, a few 2nd for another first etc...

And a great DG, that we don't have, would find a way to get rid of Shaw, Petry

A magician would get rid of Alzner, Price
