The fans have been patient long enough with the same approach and same results through various GM's.

Time to tear it down...

I also like how MB is preaching about "today's" NHL and how it's all about "speed speed speed" not even one full (frank)ing year after signing Alzner and previous acquisitions like King, Ott and Martinsen.

Good God he's a pathetic unqualified mess

- Snots33_77

The longer he stays the more he's likely to screw it up even more, he's operating to keep his job more than to improve the team now and that's scary

See, a positive outlook on this would be that he learned from his mistakes and the best is to come.

I actually thought he did quite well his first 3 years on the job... Seems like he either got impatient or felt pressure to "improve" the roster

Now we're at a "reset" on his original no-plan plan. He now finally realizes that the NHL is fast! We're saved!!

That wasn't grammar - unless I missed something. Think the first edition said he traded for Alzner.

Must be why he'll likely put together a ridiculous package to land O'Reilly, the speed!

You never know with this guy anymore? And i have a feeling he's pig-headed enough to draft someone other than Svech or Zadina at 3rd. I really hope i'm wrong.....

"It's not about who's the best player today, it's about who we think will be better down the line"

"After Dahlin, it's unclear who should be taken afterwards"

"I think Position 2 to 5 are different for every team"

...

Yeah I think it's very possible he takes someone else.

That would be the worse... Leclair & Desjardins for Recchi wasn't great either

Savard was once asked if there was a deal he was offered that he refused to do and regretted it.

He said that Vancouver offered him Cam Neely for Brian Skrudland

We need offense and i'm really really hoping we draft one of the 2 available because we need excitement and offense on this team now more than ever! I just hope he doesn't draft Tkachuk over the other 2.

No way??

But they never would of been able to get the great Gary Leeman so, that kind of worked out!!

That's not the point, I believe it would be a mistake if the Habs grabbed him 3rd, it would be catastrophic if the Canes took him 2nd!

Cam Neely didn't do very much in Vancouver.

He said that Neely had a big injury in junior and was a question mark back then...that and apparently he was kind of a Richard.
