ROR 1st ( lottery protected) , Jake for weber, Alex g , 2nd

I’m 99% sure any deal with Montreal they will make us take Weber

You're not getting lottery protection, and Montreal is picking 3rd, not second

Arizona comes back with O'Reilly, Asplund, and Borgen as they want an almost NHL ready 3rd line center in Asplund and an RHD prospect in Borgen.

Would you still make the trade?

- kingcong39

Plus next year's first, Nylander and O'Reilly? Probably not.

I'd move on to Schenn, Hoffman or Athanasiou

You don’t have to give up the first this team is not going to be good

Why would they move Schenn when they’re trying to get ROR to help him

Those two 1,2

If you want 2 OA or 3 OA, it's gonna hurt a lot. If you're so sure they're gonna be bad, why not keep all the pieces and just pick 2 OA next year, if you're so sure they're gonna suck?

No, O'Reilly, Asplund, and Borgen in place of your proposal.

Seems legit. That proposal would only suit the coyotes if their plan is to not suck as hard this year.

I don't think it's a "I have to take this" offer to Chayka (that is their GM, right?)

Pach, Falk is a nice depth guy. Sure would have loved to have him in the '06 ECF.

He was over his head as an NHL regular

Falk was a good solider for the team this pasts year but unfortunately for him, there's no room for him on the Sabres roster moving forward. A good guy for Rochester who can help mentor the young fellas coming up.

There is about 6 teams that are in the market for a center and you have teams lineing up for JT and teams will come to us after they miss out they will have the cap space

I’m not worried

So many Sabres are rather ho-hum.
- The Don

very true statement...although I will hand it to a player like falk, his limitations are (were) obvious, but he played his best and gave it his all game-in/game-out

[quote=Michael Pachla]sorry...should have titled the blog Impression...questions...ror,

It never stops, after ROR it will be Risto and after that Reinhart, then back to Scandella, it just will keep going. I love how everyone thinks that ROR is a goner no matter what.

yeah...I think he could have a positive effect in Rochester and as a second/third call-up in case of an emergency...I like his honest effort and the way he plays his role
