Evander Kane is worth 5.25m-6.25m. So he got paid extra, as most UFAs do. The only big plus is that he's still young and has 4 GOOD seasons ahead where age shouldn't be a factor. Other than that Kane is a guy that will behave much differently when he knows he's got the $ in the bag
