I hadn't really thought about renting cars, we may or may not depending on our route. Most likely though I don't expect to want to drive. Thanks for the advice though
- NorthNuck

In France, we flew into Paris, walked everywhere and rented a car on our final day there. We drove through the wine regions and ended in Bordeaux, where we returned the car and went back to a la pied. It was about $170 for a week. We then rented a car for one day to drive to St. Emillion and out to the sand dunes on the coast. With the speeding ticket, it was about $170 for the day

"I'm trying to bulk up to 200lbs. No, just kidding. I don't know my weight right now. Maybe around 177 right now"

- Pettersson

He sure as hell doesnt look 177, but if he is that is amazing

- classic321

If he can keep hitting slapshots at 97 mph and not get injured playing the NHL who cares what he weighs

He weighed in for the WJC at 171 up a few pounds from the combine in the summer. It should be noted he gained this weight in a prolonged season of big minutes. Its not all hot dogs.

Good to know, I know some people note the weather in the fall as being rainy and cold but we spent the last 4 years living on Van Island so I don't think it'll bother us really
- NorthNuck

so true. You'll be able to function if it does rain. Just go into 'west coast' mode.

Europe's getting hotter and drier. Good time to take advantage of human impact.

London's insane for street cameras, inside shops, museums, subways, bridges, etc. You can't get away from them.

It's good because it's cheap. The same dog's sold at canuck games but at $7.50 it's a turd wrapped in tinfoil.

Just looked it up.. in the UK you're likely to be caught on 70 cameras a day, so probably more in London alone!

I listened to the conference call. I'm pretty sure he said he thought he weighed around 77kg, which works out to about 170. That seems right to me.

He totally deadpanned that line about wanting to bulk up to 200. The guys are going to need some time to get used to his dry sense of humour.

I don't know if the majority of the mainstream media ever came to the realization that Hank and Danny were actually funny dudes in their whole time in Van

Skinner? Isn't he broken?

Why the (frank) would he do that?

- bloatedmosquito

Nah. He's fine.

He just had a huge bumhole of a coach.

Luckily for you guys he's in Calgary now.

Is there somewhere to listen online? Or do I have to wait until they archive it later?

I had a look at Skinners stats and he's been pretty healthy the past 4 seasons and I know Benning has looked at him before. Not that I'm saying he'd be a great fit here but what would CAR want in return?

He seems like a smart kid with an intelligent sense of humour.

He would be fine with getting stronger and not adding much weight at all to be honest.

Dahlen and a draft pick? Lind + Baertschi? I doubt they'd be interested in Tanev with the D corps they already have. Would be a bad trade for us to make

ya agreed just curious. Didn't think they'd bite on Tanev either. Lind and Dahlen would be off the table but it would be nice to move Baertchi.
