Vogl was good. He just wrote what actually was happening.

It was all down hill from the tank for Harrington, Sully and Bucky.

Once they adopted an anti-tank stance, they really became unreadable. Every column had to be a shot at the tank or Personally against the Pegulas.

I don't think Bucky will be getting a job at PSE

- jcragcrumple

It's been downhill since 2007 for at least Bucky and Sully.

I bet if the jets offered Myers for him straight up more than half this fan base would still say no.
- Sabresfan-365

That's a bridge too far on the hyperbole train sir.

There's nobody left who wouldn't take Myers back in place of Bogo. Nobody.

It's okay because "working" was in quotes.

yeah i obviously googled it when i came up with that im just confused why that's the case.

Last time they opted out that year was the shortened year. How are they going to opt out in september of 2019 and just play the season?

- Sabresfan-365

I know you figured it out, but it wouldn't be unprecedented. '92-'93 or '93-'94 was played without a CBA. Can't remember off the top of my head.

Well, 9 "newsroom" people took buyouts, and so far we're only at 2, one can hope that Harrington was one of the other 7.

He's excited, who can blame him. Look at what he had to work with before
- Sabresfan-365

Yeah, but Jesus Christ, you still have to coach at least half of them.

There's "a chance" that Ryan Kesler could miss all of the 2018-19 season, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Kesler suited up in just 48 games during the regular season because of a hip injury and Friedman says it's obvious to teammates and opponents that the Ducks center is in a lot of discomfort. According to this report, Kesler will not been undergoing surgery. Instead, he'll opt for an aggressive form of rehab. It's important to note that no one has said that Kesler will miss all of next season, it's just one possibility. The 33-year-old had eight goals and 14 points during the regular season and two points in four games in the playoffs.

Yea, can he fit Sully in his suitcase?
- macman9

I might be the only person in WNY that likes Sully. I like his take because he's not from here, and doesn't wear Bills/Sabres colored glasses. He's not negative - he's a realist. I love how people from around here lose their sh!t whenever he has something to say. He's can be a pr!ck, and that's fine - kind of reminds me of me.

Basketball is what Sully knows, but he sticks his neck into everyone else's lane. Two summers ago, the BN ran this series of something called like "quick takes," or "short hot takes," and Sully's whole argument was predicated on this imaginary extension that Murray gave to Kane. He was saying how Murray has to show the 5-year extension he gave to Kane makes sense.

Needless to say, the entire premise was made up, and there was never a retraction

Oh, both?

They're never trading Rakell. Hot take alert: the most underrated player in the NHL. Or among them anyway.

The Ducks always have had a team cap with players, ROR with his contract falls in that. Nothing for sure they move ROR.
