I did a little Armchair GMing on capfriendly with the cap at $80M.

-I let Rowney walk, moved Kuhn and Simon's RFA rights for late picks.

-I traded Sheary to FLA for the rights to Petrovic and resigned him at 3yrs/$2M

-I traded Hunwick to AZ for a couple of late picks (this is the toughest to justify)

-Re-signed Rust 3rs/$3M, Oleksiak 2yrs/$1.1M, Sprong 3yrs/$700K, Sheahan 3rs/$2.75M

-Signed Komarov 2yrs/$2M

-Signed Antoine Roussel 3yrs/$2.3M

-Still had a little over $1M fee cap space

My goal was to replace what they lost in Cole and upgrade the 4th line.

I'm not the biggest fan of Roussel or Komarov, but they're better than Rowney and Kuhn. I'd be alright with this roster. I think they might be able to do better though. Maybe?

I was trying to add a little more sandpaper and scoring on the 4th line. I'm sure JR can always do better than anything we suggest on here as he's done in the past.

I just don't think the Pens need to make a ton of major moves. I think upgrading the depth is all that's really necessary.

I've seen worse but that is a lot of moves just to end up with some very marginal upgrades over what you already have.

I think regardless of what is done there will need to be a bunch of little moves like that when it comes to their RFAs and at the very least they get a bunch of late picks.

I think it's a little more than a marginal upgrade on the depth side, plus I think Petrovic would replace what the Pens lost in Cole.

Yeah I get the logic and it is definitely an improvement but for me that many moves I'm trying to get players with more potential than Roussel, Komarov, and Petrovic.

Fair. I was looking at all the available UFAs in the $2Mish price range. I'm sure JR can probably do better via trade, but I'm not going to bother attempting to speculate what that might look like.

You're so pissed by looking at all your comments about Reaves playing in the NHL, & now he's going to hopefully lift the Cup. Oh, goes against everything you say on here him doing that. Even if Vegas don't win, you're whiny comments about his abiłity are all just that, whiny.
