Why would I be annoyed? He is insignificant to me.

Not sure how he deserves it. It is an earned team accomplishment. He spent much of his career as an individual wearing a C that was amazing on a stat sheet. Not a Team Captain. He has had some of the most talented lineups behind him and he faded to the back. And now that they are the darlings of the NHL, he DESERVES it?

He has 112 points in 116 career playoff games. 2012-13 was the only bad playoffs he's had, 2 points in 7 games, other than that he has been one of the most consistent playoff performers. This is wrong.

They absolutely shouldn't. If they do, they're (frank)ing idiots. Not only that, but a Conn Smythe worthy performance in 2015-16, led the league in PP points this season. You just don't trade elite talent. You rarely ever get a fair return.

Kessel is going nowhere. This is becoming as bad as the perennial "Malkin leaving to be the man" trades.

I love how when Kessel struggles we hear Sully and him don't get along, and management is shopping him. When Kessel is doing well, like this year where he put up 92 points, we hear how great him and Sully are getting along.

Now? After he had a rough post-season it's back to the bullpoop.

-Re-signed Rust 3rs/$3M, Oleksiak 2yrs/$1.1M, Sprong 3yrs/$700K, Sheahan 3rs/$2.75M

-Signed Komarov 2yrs/$2M

-Signed Antoine Roussel 3yrs/$2.3M
