Nothing makes me think "wow, what a cool and credible person" than when someone takes a name and adds a word like trash into Kardashian. I bet he uses super cool terms like LIEberals and CONservatives. I wish I could be that cool. |

Faulk for RNH straight up!
Actually, I think Faulk is EXACTLY the type of dman EDM needs. He may not put up the type of points of an elite #1, but he puts up enough, plays a solid all-around game and has a good physical edge.
Faulk will either be an Oiler or Leaf. Mark my words. |

Why would Pete Chiarelli trade an older, more expensive asset when he could just trade a couple of high picks that turn into stars? |

What's really sad is that because you invoke Chia in this statement I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. |

I think it's about time he dumped Draisitl for Loui Eriksson and a bunch of plugs.
EDIT: Sigh...It still hurts sometimes. |

I am being sarcastic. But I do fully expect him to move the 10th overall for someone like Faulk and get absolutely wrecked for it |

One can dream. Now if Cload was the coach there it would absolutely be on the table.
Bring Cload all the used up power forwards.

The Oilers IMO are better off to stop drafting and waiting. They should build to win now. The 10th overall of Faulk? Yeah, that would be a bit too much, but he really could be the missing link on their back-end. |

I think he's been forgotten about because of where he plays. You can argue an elite #1 would thrive anywhere, but I'm not saying he's an elite #1.
I do think Faulk is a legit first pairing dman. If we're just looking at point production, we need to consider where he's played his career. The Canes have had an anemic offense for many moons now and he's put up respectable numbers.
What I like about Faulk is you don't have many dman who really bring everything he brings in one package. Faulk is an offensive-minded dman who plays a physical game and is more than solid in his own end. |

I didn't think you were making a case for him being number one. I just don't have the same view of him. He's not that good offensively, he hasn't topped 37pts at any point in the last three years. He's 33rd overall in scoring from defenseman in that time period. That's good, no doubt about it, but I'm not sure that I'd move someone like Nugent Hopkins for him. Hell, Brent Seabrook has scored more than him over the last three years. I also don't necessarily agree that he's "solid" in his own zone. He may not be a burning dumpster, but I don't think he's that great either. I think he's a solid 2nd pairing guy, which is important, but I'm not overly impressed with him. |
