Of course not, Kane is a better player for sure. I'm just saying that I think what San Jose is paying and what they're actually getting is pretty far apart. It's not a good deal. An injury-prone problem child that has exactly one good season in his career for 7x7 - eichiefs9
Maybe Kane found his spot to shine. Kind of like Grabs did for us. I think the heavy game he plays will make the last couple years of that contract awful, but I'm not ready to say the whole contract is awful. |

When the Rangers started getting all these Russian guys. Buch, Shesterkin, Rykov. Next up Kovi and Svechnkiov.
(Just kidding on Svechnikov, I can dream though.) |

The odds you could get on that would have to be at least 200/1. |

Either or. I was just joking. Rangers have almost no shot a draft one or the other. |

The dude has been playing hockey in a barren, frigid third world country for years in a league that averages about 6k fans per game...I'm sure he doesn't care about Belmont |

No but that team he plays on there treats him way better than other teams in the KHL, similar to NYR |

I'm sure at age 35 he'd prefer to try and win and not play for a rebuilding team with an aging goaltender.
Not saying the Islanders are his best chance to win, but I'd be surprised if he wanted to hang around the Rangers hoping they successfully rebuilt quickly. |

maybe he can be a deadline deal in year 2 to a contender if hes chasing a cup |
