No he is, when he wants to be. If you told me the Tkachuk the Rangers would get would the one that had a great WJC, many would be thrilled. At BU he wasn't the same player. Didn't go to the net or use his physicality.

I think he's grossly overrated but I still think he'll be a useful NHL'er.Good middle-6'er.

Wonder what Chris Drury's thoughts/plans on for his nephew Jack Drury? Jack might be around by the time the 48th pick roles around.

Probably. Maybe like a Alex Killorn type player.

Yeah, I was thinking David Perron but that's a good one too

Something in my gut is telling me they’re going to do all they can to draft Tkachuk, moving up specifically. Like 9 and 26 or 28 for 4 or 5. Tkachuk is the kind of player I’d think would fit that bill
- Slimtj100

The rankings situation with the hockey world draft experts from the #3 overall pick, down to even the 12th or a few later among the top 15 overall alone, can vary during the final 6 to 8 weeks period prior to the draft. Next, some GM's original plans may change after seeing the top 100 or slightly more draftees at "The Combine", which is being held again in Buffalo next week from May 29th through June 3rd.
That could change their own earlier perceived rankings alone, & possibly affect any moves of even having to trade up to land who they were initially targeting. They may even trade down if a better or more suitable option is there for them either pick wise, or even for an established player or more.
So I wouldn't expect any major move(s), (outside of the case to not lose a top pending July 1st free agent), to be made by the vast majority of GM's until after "The Combine" at the earliest. In Gorton's case, his first significant move may not likely occur until within a week or two before the June 22nd/23rd Draft to be held in Dallas, as well as him also being active trade wise during the Draft itself.

That’s not overly thrilling then lol. I like Killorns game but I’d want more of a scorer at 9 or 4,5 if it’s a trade. But a guy can become more then he’s shown at a lower level. Tkachuk just seems like a fit for what Quinn said and since he coached him it seems obvious they’d try to draft him, unless they didn’t get along at BU or something. Wether you like it or not they could be targeting him imo haha

Jesus Christ, Saver. Calm down and take a step back ffs

I've read on Jan's blogs, that you have been all over the place on this site, including personally seeing you there on Tanner's blogs those two times I have ever visited them. I have also earlier seen right here others complaining about members' comments made elsewhere.

At the WJC he close to Wayne Simmonds in a sense that he was physical, was net front and scoring. At BU he didn't do enough of that. He's a curious case.

Miller had 18 points in 19 games when playing on a line with Stamkos and Kucherov. Maybe he's a byproduct of 2 All stars. Idk.

That must be you, Tom, in trying to have your typing tutoring lessons over with faster prior to the start of the Memorial Day weekend.
Have yourself an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend, with taking a break from being on "gif", "you tube", and whatever other sites you need to entertain yourself with, and try to also do for others as well!
Enjoy!

Will get my thoughts up on the press conference and interviews Quinn did later in the day as soon as I can. I am hoping today but may not occur until Sunday.

Miller scored two goals in the playoffs, and both times he did, NYR twitter and bloggers had a total melt down

That is what I'm saying. He was so bad in the playoffs on that line they moved Palat into his spot on the wing.

Love that Quinn wants his team playing with an edge. The lack of physical play under AV was terrible.
