So the last goal Tampa scored was in game 5? Yeesh - TPC
Yes TPC, in being somehow unforeseen, as I wrote after the game, in being scored by Callahan as the GWG of their 3-2 win in Game #5.
Tampa was then held scoreless for the remainder of the series to a tune of its final 159:27, with that Cally goal coming just 33 seconds into that Game 5's 2nd Period.
At least that was their taste of what we suffered in the 2015 ECF loss to them, when being unable to score goals at MSG, including being shut out in the deciding Game #7. |

Looks like an extra from Used Cars.

That looks more like Michael Cohen in his pre criminal days, especially in wearing a sport jacket close to the one that he was seen in recently.
I wonder if "echiefs" wears a similar plaid jacket still. If so, look out then! |

#NYR's current cap space situation:
- Assumes an $80mil cap in 18-19
- Guessing $13m/2yrs for for Kovalchuk
- Not accounting for any other future UFAs or trades
- NY looking at ~$20 mil in cap space, before dealing with any restricted free agents, with 3-5 roster spots open
-------
HockeyStatMiner@HockeyStatMiner
Or, scrapping Kovalchuk completely and all else being equal: #NYR looking at $26 mil to spend of 4-6 roster vacancies.
Either way, Jeff Gorton & co should be wiiide open this summer

Hey buddy! Sorry if you misunderstood my words last night.
If you want to see me actually being very upset at anyone who really spoke enormously bad & falsely so about Girardi, then look at 2 of Tanner's Capitals blogs posted in the past week. First, his 6 days ago ("Caps Lose - Series Tied"), followed by yesterday's (Game 7 Is Upon Us") blog.
Read that member's ("mattstake") earlier blog's Girardi comment I replied to that he initially posted after Tampa tied the series at 2-2, and then his one (in having a slight contradiction as well) on yesterday's blog after Tampa's Game 7 loss. Then you will see how that member is completely lost about Girardi, which upset me, as it would both you, and your buddy, Jim. |

But some years too late for your favorite in Bickell to be acquired.
I hope he is doing much better with his health now, otherwise more importantly.

Something in my gut is telling me they’re going to do all they can to draft Tkachuk, moving up specifically. Like 9 and 26 or 28 for 4 or 5. Tkachuk is the kind of player I’d think would fit that bill |

My guess is he gives Doug a chance with a front office that isn't full of morons sticking crayons up their noses. But I'd imagine his leash will be relatively short. A prolonged start like last year finished and he's probably gone by Thanksgiving. |

No he is, when he wants to be. If you told me the Tkachuk the Rangers would get would the one that had a great WJC, many would be thrilled. At BU he wasn't the same player. Didn't go to the net or use his physicality. |
