I could understand trading him if it was part of a package to get something really good but why throw him away. He can make a solid 2nd liner while we wait for more prospects to mature

Draft and develop!! No trading for other teams unwanted scraps unless it’s to obtain picks. No shortcuts anymore

He may be a better player than when 1st acquired, but he needs to be propped up by Bo.
He has been mediocre at best away when not playing with Horvat.
I am sure Leipsic or Virtanen or Erickson could easily replace that production on that line.
Maybe the other team would have too add a 7th, so we get a bit more than what we paid, or Lindholm from Carolina.

While those are all bad contracts, at least Price and Toews(and Weber for that matter) still play the game at a high level, until they become old and unusable they won't be considered the worst contracts. If this was last year, Brown would definitely have made the list.

I would rather have those other contracts than Price. Sure, he can still play but it’s arguably the worst contract in the league. He appears to be on the decline and he will be earning $10.5 million until he is 40 lol

Loui is complete trash but we only have a few years left and he is tradeable if we were desperate
