McPhee has been an average front office staffer throughout his career and Gallant has been an objectively bad head coach throughout his. I originally thought McPhee had a sub par expansion draft but it ended up really working out. I'm enjoying the success Vegas is having so I hope they keep it up.

So yeah, MAF is amazing this year no doubt. However the Vegas GM benefited from a wide variety of salary dumps in this the salary cap era. Admittedly, may were erratic and under performers. However, looking at them they do play for each other and I see no slackers.
