Dont have to hold them accountable for every mistake. Players make mistakes all the time, if they go out on the ice trying not to make mistakes, they get off their game and become inaffective.
He rarely held gardiner accountable, seemed to only be certain players.

We only have 6 d compared to 12 forwards....plus Gardiner's past the age of learning new things

Nothing wrong with putting the young guys on line 4 when they don't follow the game plan...mistakes are fine...not following the game plan gets you a couple games on line 4...not that big of a deal IMO
