I know...if he doesn't score 50 points....he's useless.

In the playoffs I was scared for peoples lives...except when I watched the Leafs.

- Garnie

Really, cause I was scared for Marners life.

Are you nuts, at this point there's nothing to say he's better than Kadri and look what he signed for.
- bobbyisno1

not nuts, just realistic and pay attention.

I am a big Kadri fan, but Nylander is the better player.
Just looking at age/Production its not really close.

Nylander
20 - 61 points
21 - 61 points

Kadri
20 - 12 points
21 - 7 points

the Leafs got Lucky with Kadri... he had an unlucky contract year...his stats tanked at the right time for the Leafs and factor in they were a bad team..they got him reasonable.

also consider the cap was 73 then, and will be 80ish now and more down the road.
7 is fair. he may get less sure.. but 7 is fair

If he signs a long term deal for 7...you take it and Laugh

I would have like to see him play without AM for a year before we had to sign him....but oh well.

So another Kessel deal, only he's not Kessel.....
- bobbyisno1

similar production at the same age (actually Nylander was better)

So yes if you can lock up his age 22-29 years for that you do it

Aren't the rules of buying out younger players a little more forgiving as well?

I'm in no way insinuating he will dip to a buyout candidate at 7M, but rather just pointing out that if worst comes to worst that it's at least an option.

I don't think so...we'll see what Dubas does...he's a #'s guy, pretty sure you take away AM and his #'s drop quite a bit....but I'm know Corsi expert. I like most of what Willie brings...except he makes Kessel look like Bob Probert.

I see you’re less than pleased with my post

I’m just pointing that out because in my eyes he had a bit of a disappointing year and it seems like with some of these young kids they can have a great year and then drop off.

I don’t think this is the case with Him though. Just probably a sophomore slump and sometime without Auston Glassthews
