Also expecting some clarity on Mark Hunter’s situation in the next few days. Hunter is not at the Memorial Cup...fueling the belief he will be leaving the Maple Leafs.

Keep the good news coming. I thought I read on the Leafs blog the Leafs might want to keep Hunter on until after the draft?

This is exciting stuff. I don’t think we fans are really used to what’s about to happen. Lou Lamoriello is going to make moves...
Please get Trouba

Just got off the phone with a very successful college buddy of mine. He told me that it is routine for high level contracts to have additional money for "no cause" terminations in contracts. Take it for what you will, but I think I was wrong about no additional money for firing Snow. I'm still not sure what defines "no cause" for termination, but I think it has to be something egregious.

Thanks JImmy! Would love to know the details of Garth's contract. Cannot be that simply or Garth would have been canned with Cappy. Hopefully Garth is done at this point regardless.

That’s great news. Maybe Snow will man the Shoeshine both at Northwell

News is happening fast so we should find out soon. The idea of the Isles adding quality hockey people besides Lou is fantastic.

If they can snag a top goalie and trade for Trouba at the draft....along with a few other tweaks, perhaps JT signs here before July 1st

Think Lou will target a goalie for sure. With any luck Sorokin is on a plane to NY as we speak.

I thought chief posted recently Trouba wanted to stay with the Jets now?

Phuck Sorokin.....not an option. I just want to finally see someone come in an be aggressive. I’m tired of watching the safe play for the sake of it being the safe play. Shake it up a bit. Make things happen.

If Sorokin is as good as advertised I'll gladly take him. Would not stop me in bringing in a quality proven goalie though. I'm not expecting Sorokin to come over now but he probably would have interest now that Lou is running things.

Good. Let Garth have a front row seat not being able to do anything except watching a real hockey person get the job done.

And the fact that Lou is gonna sign Kovulchuk.....after he trades Nelson with the first rounder for a quality dman.

Gonna be interesting to see the fate of Ho sang now. Does he make it past the draft or is he a goner under Lou?

Going to be nice to see what real trades look like. I think if JT signs, Lou trades one of the 1's and one of the 2nd along with players like Nelson. This is what I would do. You still built for the future and add talent for the current team at the same time.
