I was gonna use that one, but the look on Ariel’s face forced me to switch.

Maybe it's nothing, and it probably is, but it can't be a bad thing that the Sharks signed/are signing Kane to an expensive long-term deal. They are/were expecting to be a big player for Tavares and I doubt they could afford to sign both to big long-term deals.

When Snow and Weight are fired I'll be happy as you when you think you're actually right about something.

Will you be happy if Snow is still our GM?

Still no quit in Cpt.

Yes, Snows done to answer your question. He already shaved. He’s Nutless, no say, Lou’s making the final call so Snow being there is just a formality Garth Snow GM ( Generally meaningless)

Eventually he will be gone.

In a perfect world, Lou's waiting until July 1st to fire Garth so he can hire Hunter right away as new GM.

If Garth Snow was GM and or winds up being GM his position will not be meaningless he will have some input on decision making. There's a 0% chance someone has that title without some semblance of decision making input.

So you're saying Lou is lying when he says he has full control? He might let Snow suggest some things doesn't mean he has to listen. You're slowly turning into the BD Gallof of Hockey Buzz

Whether you like Kovulchuk or not, when you have the ability to add that type of asset without giving up anything you do it. If it doesn’t work out, you flip said asset for something and you’re still left with an asset that you ultimately gave nothing up to acquire. This is what real teams do.

Snows islanders saw them draft a Russian who was termed “baby Kovulchuk” and ultimately went nowhere. Lou Lamoriello’s isles can get the actual Kovulchuk.

I literally heard Lou Lamoriello on WFAN yesterday say he met with Malkin (after not returning his call twice ha) and was told by Malkin himself he’d have complete autonomy. He also said he’d evaluate everything and he himself will make decisions if anything needs to be changed. Phuck Snow at this point....hes literally gonna be paid to do nothing. He’s a memory. This is a new Islander team. One we’ve been waiting for for decades.

Come on man. He's going to be the general manager of the team and have no input on decision making? Ill completely disagree with you if you buy into that BS. It's not a matter of being wrong give me more credit than that and you're better than that. Than again maybe you're not

No I'm not saying he's lying I'm saying if Snow stays in the role as general manager he will have some input with decisions. I think you're completely fooling yourself thinking otherwise. Let's see if he gets fired along with Weight and we'll take it from there. If they stay whats the reasoning? They need tp be evaluated? Givemea(frank)ingbreak the whole world knows their track record and what they'll continue to bring. If they stay it's not to do nothing. Sorry that is complete, utter bullshat. I'll completely disagree with that notion. If Lou is the actual GM and president of hockey operations than thats what his title will/would be. Not make believe GM Garth Snow and the real GM Lou Lameriello

Yeah great so we have a general manager who is not managing? He will have zero input on any decision making? You actually believe that? So why keep him? Due to the newest fabricated rumor that Malkin and Ledecky will have to pay him quadruple what is owed bcs of his Wang contract? Lets see if he gets canned and Weight does. If they don't that tells you something. Lou doesn't need to do an evaluation he doesn't live in a (frank)ing bubble he knows what Weight and Snow bring

Firstly, i do believe that. Secondly, i heard Lou himself say he makes all decisions. Lastly, i also heard Lou say, he knows Snow, Weight and obviously his son Chris well. But he doesn’t know how they all work as a unit.
The bottom line is Snow is going to be what he ALWAYS should have been which is a scout. He can propose anything he wants. But Lou Lam has final say on any and all hockey related decisions. That’s not my opinion that’s been factually stated.

He has final say but again I'm saying if Snow stays he's still having an impact or input in decisions being made. Again, I'm getting sick of repeating myself here let's see if he gets fired along with Weight first and take it from there. Jesus (frank)ing christ

Not all snows moves were bad but some were moronic and if he stays the moronic ones will be stopped by lou

Ok. That's a great thought process hopefully it works out that way. It's incredible how you and Kindlyrick know what's going to be happening inside the front offices of the NY Islanders which is usually less accessible than the Kremlin.

Lou having full control doesn't mean or translate to Snow not having any impact or input on decision making.

Clearly theres some truth to this contract Wang gave Snow. I do not believe nor do i have any doubt Snow will have a negative impact in this situation. I’m fully confident that we are in a new era, one that will breed success here.

I don’t profess to know what’s going on I’m only going off what was said publicly yesterday by Lamoriello. I know it’s been a long few decades but i for one think this is the best news the isles have had since winning cups. I refuse to let the battered wife syndrome ruin this happy moment for me.
