Answer the question feds.... he gets paid millions and you literally said "hockey isnt for him" hahaha yikes has his team in the cup finals but hockey isnt for him.... you dont think the assistant coaches or GM Mcphee would say anything if this was THAT bad of a decision??? You dont think EVERY single sports outlet would be covering this not praising it??? You dont the DUSTIN BYFUGLIEN would endorsed him playing after losing a series!? You think the vegas players would go out of there way to single handely point out Reaves if it was the outrageous of a decision??? You dumb azz feds you were the one that said in the comments from this season I looked back "a team cant win with Reaves in the lineup" haha how did that comment age!? And you still wont show me in a chart how good every teams 4th line is of the remainging 4 teams... how come!? |

I've been calling Gallant an idiot for a long time.
Also if you don't know if Tatar should be in the lineup over Reaves I don't think hockey is for you. - Feds91Stammer
Gallant has taken a team made up of leftovers from other teams to the Stanley Cup finals. He is one of the best in the business. I'd say that makes you the idiot. |

This is your quote... "if you don't know if Tatar should be in the lineup over Reaves I don't think hockey is for you." Fleury is amazing. Four more wins for him this post season and he will have sealed his ticket to the HOF. Even if they don't win it this year I think he still gets in.
I think seeing how he is playing this season means all of us who thought the Pens should entertain offers on Murray instead of letting Fleury go were justified in our thoughts. Crazy to think the Pens gave up a 2nd round pick to get Vegas to take the Conn Smythe winner.

While he deserves all the praise he's receiving this year I think RW's blog is absolutely correct. It wasn't too long ago when we all wanted him strung up for poopting the bed. That being said I think all of us are happy to see him succeed. He really does seem to be a great guy.

I'll still take the younger, cheaper guy despite Fleury's superior season. This is probably never going away though as a debate though.
Very happy for Fleury's success though. Wasn't fully appreciated here and a poorly timed injury probably is all that kept him from starting for those last 2 Cup runs himself. |

I don't think Reeves changes anything in our series against the caps. Is there a chance he may have scored? Of course there is but he would never have swung a game with his offensive output.
I do think he has value in a 7 game series though. As others have said, playing against a guy like that absolutely effects your on ice play. Big Buff had the same effect in the Preds series. Knowing you're going to get smashed in the corner makes you hesitate/hurry. Defenders are also more likely to let him arrive first on the puck and try to contain him after then go in first and get plastered. |

Spot on! Blackstrom said about the same. I played 1 year in the ECHL 1 year in the AHL and 4 years playing pro overseas and if you don’t have it in your mind when players such as a buff, reaves, Chris neil etc are on the other bench you won’t be awake or healthy for long. As I keep repeating, is reaves why Vegas is winning? Clearly no and never will be. Can he be useful on a good playoff team? Clearly yes as coaches gms, teammates, opposition, media have all said and seen. |

Do you people here actually think that Reaves would have moved the needle for the Pens in the playoffs? - Rinosaur
In my opinion if Reaves would have played I think he wouldn’t have just went and asked Wilson to have a fight like Oleksiak did respectfully. He would have made a mockery of him and his “tough guy” image. I know you can’t prove anything through statistics but I know when people are being bumholes and bullying people in everyday life the feeling it gives others to bully the bully. So many great nhlers on record saying how great it makes them feel having that. Brett Hull, Gretzky, Yzerman, Lindstrom, CROSBY. Then who knows. Might have scored a big goal to get us to the conference finals. Either way I think my side of the argument is being proved right anyways right now. |

Who?
And Wilson had little to no impact on that series. It was the Kuzy and Ovi show featuring Vrana. |

My comments were directed at what choices MAF had and the financial consequences of either decision. Murray had taken over the starting position and Fluery had the option of playing behind him or going to another team and starting. Fortunately for Fluery, the fans and the organization, MAF took his time and made a very wise decision. Also good for the organization to give him that leeway, then honor his request to go to Vegas. |
