I think Tanev could go for higher than that as long as it's playing to a teams needs. 10OA is obviously a stretch but Chia traded Hall for Larsson...

I don't know enough about the Oilers to say whether Broissoit is good enough to be the backup next year but if not why not add Nilsson to the deal, don't expect to get much for him anyways.

Lets face it Nilsson has very little value. The bigger ice surface and a stacked Swedish D made AN look all world. Most teams know he is a hot n cold goalie, he did play for the Oilers before and they let him walk.

Very true. If Nilsson stays in Van it will only be a matter of weeks before he is his same 'ol self. Find a capable backup for Marky this year...then next year Marky can back up Demko until DiPietro gets here.

I think they could get a 4-6 round pick if they held back 1 mil of his salary

No.

I’ve soured on most of the Leafs young core after watching them get exposed in the playoffs against real grown men

I was thinking more along the lines of, the rights to a certain player, that the team is unable to sign for whatever reasons. Examples being Mascherin in Florida, Mattinen and Elynuik as unsigned picks, or the rights to a pending ufa.

Matthews couldn't even handle the coach without sulking never mind playing against men. Tryamkin 2.0

Great regular season player, but not a leader or someone I’d pay 9-10M for in the playoffs

Todd Bertuzzi on SN 650 talking about the #Canucks going after ufa Ryan Reaves., "He is outstanding physically, so hard to contain down low and he is a lesser version of Dustin Byfuglien. That is something for sure the Canucks can use going forward."

This is the third time I heard this by different people

He would be good, as long as they don't overpay.

Outside of the top 10, I'd actually agree with most of the list.

37. Jonathan Tychonick
68. Sampo Ranta
130. Jacob Ingham
161. David Tendeck
192. Pavel Gogolev

Taking a long look at that list, I don't think that thought was put into it outside of the first round.

Wow, ranking 500 players is insane. Especially if it’s just the work of 1-3 people.

Don’t agree with like half of the list(from the players I recognize lol), but respect for ranking that deep of a list.

Yeah, there’s no way I’d pass on him if I had 1st pick. Even if I was GM of Carolina who’s loaded on defense and desperately needs scoring.

I’d draft him and make a trade to balance out my roster.

Svech is s beast, but a potentially elite dman is too good to pass up

Slight difference in these compared to Central scouting. I only highlight these 3 because they made my list of "acceptable" players Van is allowed to draft.
