He has Merkley at 10 and Dobson and Bouchard at 18 and 20

Yeah, that list looks like it was made with a 31 sided dice...

This is just my opinion, but it almost seems like he's over compensating just to prove a point that talent is being underrated by gm's/scouts/fans/media.

And I still don't understand how he was down on a guy like Pettersson last year if he weighs talent heavily. the knock on EP was his skinny frame and the fact he wasn't an explosive skater either(he's improved his skating this year though). I don't really remember anyone questioning his talent.

Same with Mittelstadt, the knock on him was not being in great shape, but everyone recognized him as a high end talent in that draft.

Glass was viewed as the all-around forward and Pronman liked him alot.

Seems like Pronman really moves the goal posts year to year.

There's people who don't suffer group think and then there are people who seem to ignorantly oppose what groups of people think regardless of it's credibility. They are just as bad blind group thinkers.

J.D. Burke is a pronman wannabe.

It seems at #7 we could be looking at Hughes, Wahlstrom or Dobson. What are each of these player's NHL potential comparables? And while I ask, what would their floors be?

Quinn Hughes: Zach Werenski, and his floor is probably something akin to a Jared Spurgeon type of player.

Oliver Wahlstrom: Brock Boeser (maybe, I guess?), and I think his floor is as a second-line winger.

Noah Dobson: Alex Pietrangelo, and his floor is probably as a number-four defenceman.

Hughes is Werenski

nope, theres a lot wrong with that team, starts from the top.
- Bettmanhatesus

They were just 60 min away from the conference finals a little over a year ago...

Remember it took Crosby/Malkin 2-3 seasons to really get rolling. Something similar could happen in EDM if the right few moves are made this summer.

His “floors” are ridiculously high, usually at least 1 top 7 draft pick busts and becomes a depth NHL’er or doesn’t even become a career NHL regular

I'm not exactly sure how it will all work, but we've all believed Lamoriello will eventually run the NYI hockey operations department...and it's believed he represented the Islanders when he spoke to Tavares

So much for Tavares signing in Vancouver

i'd like to be the first to welcome Tyler Bozak to our team.

I’ve already mentally prepared myself for a 3-4 year Bozak contract offer. Hopefully he turns ya down.

Ironically, the Canucks were in the running to sign him as a college UFA and his name was constantly brought up in Luongo trade roooomers.

Really, have you?

If they sign Bozak to 3-4 years. Looking at the newest VGK fan here. (or jets)

I will have lost trust in everything I know. It will be a lot of drama.

Per a very reliable source, "Paul Stastny didn't know how much he would like playing for the Jets and despite being a UFA will seriously talk to the Jets in hopes of getting a deal done to stay in Manitoba..."

Nope.

I sure like Carlsons game. How far would we go money wise to land him? Btw i don’t think JB will go for him but play what if.

Foe whatever reason both Gillis and Benning have been high on Bozak. He's a decent enough third line guy but we have plenty of those.

I'm a few pages behind. But my opinion, if Dobson and Bouchard (examples) are not flashy but good Dmen. then take the F and grab your D in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I like what I've seen out of Kotkaniemi. Nice to see someone has him rated a little higher.

Gotta move Tanev at draft for more pick(s), prospect(s). Edler at TDL for same. Then I would take Edler back for 2 years in summer. So thin at D still.

A nice list of all teams draft picks

MTL and DET. Thats how you accumulate picks.

TL and JB:

"we will draft and develop."

---with as little picks as possible.

Maybe so but cannot force trades.
I’ll take take Dahlen & Goldy for example
