No spin involved. First you're diagnosing people through the TV, then claiming to know how the Flyers medical staff treated Richards when he was a Flyer. In your own words.

I don't think the Flyers had heroin needles shoved into him 24/7.

However, it's conceivable that they gave him pain killers, he got addicted, needed something more, and sought opiates on his own. It's sad how hard he fell.

Pretty much. Heart and soul player who gave it his all and his body broke down. He made some bad decisions like we all sometimes do. I look fondly on his days as a Flyer.
