Bottom line with Quinn is that he's not an x and o guy, so his assistants are going to be critical. It will be interesting to see who he brings in.

Ottawa is the team to deal with. 9 is still good enough for a team to move down to. Seems like a good fit for both teams. Ideally if your the rangers, since they got some Dmen in the trades, you take more forwards and try to copycat the Jets way of drafting. Higher end forwards up and down the lineup. Chytil, Andersson, howden, Tkachuk is a good start towards that. Maybe a Kaut or Noel later on. Easier said then done however.

I saw on one of the pregames before the Vegas/Jets game, one of the 1st things Gallant said to all his players at training camp was "Have fun." I think thats awesome.

I didn't mind AV up until this year. Think he completely lost the team and it was his time to go. Hopefully this Quinn guy has a good system thats fun to watch.

Hire MSL as an assistant

One thing I like about Quinn from reading is that he likes to give young players some leeway if they make mistakes. Hopefully that means players like Buch can relax more and just play their games
