Game 6 aside, he's playing between 10 and 12 minutes per game in the playoffs.
No doubt he'll most likely be very good one day but let's just wait a little before calling him "great"? - Scabeh
NO! It was a horrible trade and we know that right now! No need to wait one more season. |

To be fair Drouin was supposed to be better and still could be better. The offense kind of suck and Bergevin felt like he needed to do something. - deadpoulet
he looks like Alex Galchenyuk 2.0. not a bad player by any stretch but not a gamebreaker. |

Like many other Habs he had a very poor season. I don't expect him to be a gamebreaker, but I do expect him to be better. |

I think both those players have the potential to be gamebreakers, if used correctly.
Put Galchenyuk back at center where he had 22 points in 21 games and Drouin on his wing, complete with a competent winger who is good in his zone like Lekhonen or Byron and see what might happen. |

i think if he's left alone to play the wing he'll be more effective. |

Don't think this past season is an indication, tbh. Let's see how he does playing alongside Tavares. |

Blake Wheeler, who might very well be the best RW in the NHL today at 31 years old, had his first 60+ points season at 25 years old. Before that, his best production was 38 points.
Galchenyuk is 24.
Drouin is 23.
How about we give the young guys a chance to keep improving before calling their current production "the best they can do". |

i'll never understand what they're doing there. unless Galchenyuk has told them he will demand a trade if he's played at center, it makes no sense. |

because Wheeler is the exception to the rule and forwards today generally see their most productive years in their mid 20s. |

You really think Tavares would come here? After a season like this?
It's not like the 5 years plan of Bergevin is working either. |
