Right now, the best LW on the team is Scott Wilson. There's no chance they go into the season like that. FA or trades will happen

On a more serious note, I'm genuinely curious of the value Nylander has. He's still a prospect with an injury history and a poop load of talent, but it hasn't translated yet. If I were an opposing GM I'd still take a shot at him, but his delayed development may not let us trade him for even close to fair value.

He is certainly not his brother. He has a lot of skill and speed, but he is also very good at absolutely disappearing for long periods of time.

This was the big knock on him when he was drafted.

I'm not saying the time to move on is right now, but I think it should be considered if the price is right.

Nobody should be safe except for Eichel and the #1 pick, but also we shouldn't be selling off everyone just for the sake of a shake up

He's a high risk asset but he's 20, a former top 10 pick and on an ELC. I'd say there's enough value there that if you packaged him with SJ's 1st (big if i know) you could get a legit top 6 winger.

That is what I'm torn about. He has shown flashes of greatness and long long periods of poor play. I know hes young and was dealing with an injury but most of the time piling up excuses to protect our guys ends up biting us as sabres fans
